EA has launched a new FIFA 18 update for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. With this, unjust penalties would no longer occur.
It wanted to happen in FIFA 18 that at corners the defender correctly headed a ball away, but still got a penalty because he came in contact with his opponent. With the new update this should not happen anymore. The same applies to the goalkeeper who does not follow a backspeed pass, so that his own goal falls.
For the rest, an exploit has been nullified that allows players to win unregulated time by staying in the Xbox Home menu or the interactive PlayStation menu during a FUT Champions competition. A time limit has now been set, which means that this tactic will no longer work.
FIFA 18 update resolves smaller bugs
Although the above issues are the most important changes of this patch, many smaller bugs have also been tackled. For example, some graphical glitches, such as missing trophies in cheering films, and hangers from the game have been worked on.
FIFA 18 has been available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 since September 29.
