Gareth Bale – Real Madrid & Wales
FIFA 15 Rating – 87
Predicted FIFA 16 Rating – 86
Gareth Bale has suffered a frustrating second season at the Bernabeu- suffering with minor injuries and struggling to hit top form. After a successful debut season for Real, scoring regularly in La Liga and the Champions League, Bale has struggled for consistency this season, scoring 13 goals in 31 league appearances and two goals in nine Champions League appearances. With excellent technique and ball control along with fantastic pace Bale is one of the great attacking forwards in European football at present. There are discussions that Bale and Ronaldo are failing to have an understanding during games, something which the coaching staff at Real are keen to underplay. However, over the second half of the season rifts do appear to have developed between the two.
Bale has scored 16 goals in 49 appearances for the Welsh national team and he will aiming to help them qualify for Euro 2016 next summer.
There are rumours on whether Bale will remain with Real or if he will seek a new challenge over the summer. Wherever he decides his future lies, he will be looking for a more consistent season to recapture the level of form that everyone knows he is capable of.
